Call for abstracts

  • Regular abstract submission for the 8Th GEIVEX Symposium run from December 1st 2025 to May 30th 2026.
  • Late-breaking abstract submission for the 8th GEIVEX Symposium will run from 9th to 30th September, to enable recent research findings to be included at the event as poster presentations only.
  • The communication to authors will be on 30th of September.
  • All accepted communication will be published in the Proceedings Book.
  • To present a communication, either as a poster or oral, it will be a requirement that at least one of the authors of the communication (the author who will present the work) be registered in the Symposium.
  • Participants cannot send more than two communications with the same first author.

There will be a recognition of the best oral and poster communications.
Communications must be sent through the platform enabled before May 30th, 2026.

POSTER EXHIBITION

Posters will be on display in two sessions of poster walks. Posters may also be selected for flash talks (2 min) before the corresponding poster walk session. Presenters are kindly requested to stand by their poster during these poster walks.

ORAL PRESENTATION

It is essential for the smooth running of the congress that all speakers hand in their power point presentation at least one hour before the beginning of the session. Symposium assistant staff will be available to upload your presentation.

LANGUAGE

The symposium language is English. Simultaneous translation will not be provided.

TOPICS

Abstracts should be submitted considering one of the following categories:

  • Fundamental EVs biology
  • EVs in cancer
  • EVs in neuro system and other complex diseases
  • Liquid biopsy and biomarkers 
  • Advances in EV methodology
  • EVs in infection and immunity 
  • EVs-based therapy and translational medicine

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

  • Access the submission portal via the “Send abstract” button.. 
  • You will be prompted to create a profile or log in if you already have one.
  • Fill out the provided form with the required information.
  • Upload your abstract in Word format.
